UniSol High Efficiency solar water heating

The UniSol solar thermal system from Unico Climate Control comprises four main elements to generate, control and store heat energy. A simple loop circuit transfers heat from the panels to a twin coil solar hot water storage cylinder.

The solar panels are connected to the lower coil whilst the upper cylinder coil is supplied by the heating boiler as a normal system. The Unisol range is available as easy to order Solar Packs to suite a range of households. If required major components are available separately.

The sun radiates an immense amount of energy to the earth. If it could all be tapped, the amount of solar radiation that reaches the globe every half an hour would be sufficient to meet worldwide energy consumption requirements for an entire year.

Unico's UniSol flat plate collectors provide a means of harnessing some of this energy to provide up to two thirds of domestic hot water requirements cutting both carbon emissions and reducing energy bills.As they work using daylight as well as sunlight they will collect all day as the sun travels East to West.
